What You’re Going to Do:
As our Contracting Expert, you’ll be the backbone of our agreements and partnerships. You will:
- Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with property owners, vendors, and strategic partners.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Collaborate closely with operations, product, and finance teams to support business goals.
- Identify opportunities to streamline contracting processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze contract performance, mitigating risk and maximizing value.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts: creation, execution, renewal, and termination.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth contracting operations.
- Provide guidance on contractual matters, risk management, and dispute resolution.
- Track key metrics, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
- Support strategic initiatives by analyzing market trends and recommending contract structures.
Bonus If You Have Experience With:
- Hospitality management systems and OTAs (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, etc.)
- Property management software (e.g., Guesty, Hostaway, Mews)
- Startups or fast-paced tech environments
- Commission-based short term rental offers
- Building and managing a property acquisition pipeline
- Handling sales objections
- Negotiating high-value vendor or partner contracts.
- Familiarity with international rental regulations.
- Using contract management software or CRM platforms.

- Understand the hospitality market (Domits, Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com)
- Learn glossary and key performance metrics: occupancy rate, RevPAR, ADR, NOI
- Understand guest experience expectations and what drives 5-star reviews
- Study competitors and regional/local market dynamics
Skills Development
- Learn and use CRM tools (HighLevel, ZoHo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive)
- Build foundational contracting, negotiation and risk management skills
- Support lead research and CRM/database updates

Stage 2: Mid-Level Contracting Specialist / Associate

- Understand key trends, competitors, and regulatory environments in the short-term rental space
- Identify and qualify high-potential property owners
- Understand zoning laws, short-term rental regulations, and compliance
Contracting Skills
- Handle complex contracts, negotiations, and risk assessments with minimal supervision
- Apply a consultative sales approach tailored to property owners
- Negotiate contract terms (commission structure, guarantees, exclusivity)
Tools & Reporting
- Leverage contract management software, dashboards, and analytics to drive decisions
- Manage pipeline effectively and track conversion metrics
- Monitor and report on KPIs: conversion rate, average deal size, churn rate
Strategy & Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally to align contracting with product, ops, and finance strategies
- Segment and prioritize leads by profitability and strategic value
- Provide feedback to the team and partner with the right stakeholders

Stage 3: Senior Contracting Specialist / Lead
Advanced Contracting Strategy
- Design and implement high-level contracting frameworks and policies
- Support closing high-value tech or multi-property portfolio deals
- Support managing strategic relationships (tech founders, real estate agents, developers, investors)
- Optimize contracting playbooks, scripts, and client materials
Leadership & Mentorship
- Coach junior and mid-level team members on contracting techniques and strategy
- Collaborate across departments (marketing, ops, product) to streamline compliance
- Present and defend contracting development plans to senior leadership
- Guide initiatives for team training and onboarding processes
Performance Management
- Own KPIs for regional or portfolio growth
- Build and maintain reporting frameworks for executive stakeholders
- Support improving customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV) metrics
- Support property churn and propose retention strategies
Strategic Impact
- Influence company strategy through partnerships, risk management, and negotiation insights
- Support expansion into new cities or property segments
- Translate owner feedback into actionable product and service improvements
- Collaborate with executives on contracting and market positioning
